SeeddeeS growing kit glass jar - Chamomille

Grow your own chamomile easily with SeeddeeS® in the glass jar. Wouldn’t you love to have the wonderfully calming and sweet scent of chamomile in your home? Chamomile has been known for centuries as a medicinal and cosmetic plant. It is an annual plant that loves sun and regular watering. After sowing, it is therefore important to place it in a sunny spot. It takes about 14 to 21 days for chamomile to germinate. Chamomile blooms from May through September and can often be harvested from June onwards.

You can easily store the dried flowers back in the glass jar. For example, you can use them to make tea, read below to find out how 😊.

Making tea from your own home-grown chamomile with SeeddeeS®

  • Pick the chamomile flowers and spread them out on a tea towel.
  • Place them in a dark, warm and well-ventilated spot and let the flowers dry for 5 to 10 days. Try to turn them occasionally.
  • Put the dried chamomile flowers back into the SeeddeeS® glass jar.
  • To make tea, place a tea strainer on your mug.
  • Add the dried chamomile and pour boiling water over the strainer until the mug is filled.
  • Let the chamomile steep well (5 to 10 minutes).
  • Remove the strainer and optionally add honey or lemon for extra flavor.
  • Enjoy your own home-grown chamomile tea.
