SeeddeeS growing kit jute bag round - Cucumber
Grow your own cucumbers easily with SeeddeeS®. Grow the Marketmore seeds in the jute bag until they are strong enough to be transplanted into a pot. Sow them indoors from February to May in a warm place between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius where daylight enters. Cucumber plants need plenty of space, sun, and water to grow. Always give the plants sturdy, tall support so that they can grow strong in the right way. When the cucumbers are fully grown, harvest them in the morning.
Tip: try to prevent a bitter taste by watering them regularly and not harvesting them when they are too large. The larger they grow, the more bitter they can taste.
Making cucumber salad with SeeddeeS®

What do you need?
- 1 cucumber
- 150 ml Greek yoghurt
- 1 clove of garlic
- Fresh dill and parsley
- Red onion
- Salt and pepper
Wash the cucumber and cut into thin slices, add the yoghurt and crush the garlic with a garlic press. Finely chop the fresh dill and parsley and add everything to a bowl. Add salt and pepper and mix well. Garnish with red onion rings and a dash of lemon juice if desired. Voilà, a delicious fresh cucumber salad made from your own home-grown cucumber!

Gebruiksaanwijzing
Stap 1
Haal de aarde uit het zakje en plaats in de jutte zak.
Stap 2
Strooi de zaadjes over de aarde heen, let op niet te dicht op elkaar.
Stap 3
Giet er water overheen en stop de zaadjes heel iets toe met aarde. Zet op een warme plek bij het raam.
Stap 4
Zorg voor voldoende water maar niet teveel om te voorkomen dat de zaadjes "verdrinken".
Stap 5
Wanneer de planten blaadjes krijgen poot je ze over in een eigen potje.
Stap 6
Midden mei plant je ze over naar buiten toe en zet je de plantjes vast een bv. een stok en op een plek waar voldoenden zonlicht is.
Stap 7
Onderhoudt de plantjes goed met voldoende water.
Stap 8
Geniet van je eigen gekweekte komkommer.
